The Department of Parks continues to engage in new and innovative cooperative agreements with various non-profit groups and individuals in the form of public/private partnerships (PPP), creating new and expanded recreational facilities within the parks system. The Public/Private Partnership Committee (PPPC), developed to streamline this process, meets monthly.
