Project Name: Oakview Elementary School Improvements

Description: Oakview Elementary School is located on East Wayne Avenue in East Silver Spring, next to Long Branch Stream Valley Park. This multi-phased project includes core improvements (e.g., expansion of the administrative suite, multipurpose room and academic support spaces); new classrooms to replace temporary classrooms; improved site circulation; and increased parking. A six-classroom addition is master planned for future design and construction but not included in the 2001 Mandatory Referral application.
