Description: The company that is renovating the Gramax building proposes to do the same for the Williams and Willste buildings, two abandoned office buildings on the north side of Eastern Avenue in south Silver Spring. The renovated buildings will include 135 multifamily dwelling units, 17 of which will be MPDUs. The narrow existing space between the two buildings will be widened in order to provide a lobby and create separation between units. The new structure is being marketed as the Aurora. Construction is under way.
