Population and Household Profiles for Sandy Spring/Ashton
Prepared for the Sandy Spring/Ashton Master Plan Master Plan, 1994
This
report includes population and househod demographic profiles
for the sandy Spring/Ashton Planning Area. The report includes
population totals, population changes, and statistics on age,
race, and Hispanic origin. Other statistics include: location
of residence in 1985, income, educational attainment, and
commuting patterns. Household characteristics inlcude: number
of married couple families, with and without children, as
well the number of non-family households. There are also statistics
on each area's housing stock and trends in home sales prices
and rental rates.
