Becoming a volunteer at Meadowside
Volunteers of Meadowside Nature Center play a vital role in promoting stewardship of our community's natural and cultural resources. By assisting naturalist staff will projects and programs of helping visitors discover the wonders of nature and history, volunteers contribute their enthusiasm, knowledge and dedication to the park's continued well being.
Meadowside volunteers receive training, recognition, and in some cases, Student Learning Hours.
Volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to:
- Naturalist Aides: Animal Care Program Assistant
- Gardeners
- Trail monitors
- Special project assistants
- Camp counselors
