Tuesday - Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Closed Sundays and Mondays
Trails open: sunrise to sunset
Winter hours: Saturday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (November 1 - March 1)

Our programs offer varied subject matter for children and adults. In addition, you can take part in naturalist-led hikes and self-guided exhibits, animal displays and interactive areas. Enjoy our nearly 8 miles of trails.

During inclement weather, Nature Facilities follow Montgomery County Public School closures, delayed openings and early releases. If school is closed for inclement conditions, all children's programs are cancelled. Cancellation of Adult programs is determined on a case-by-case basis. Please call the nature facility to check on adult program status.

Busy as a Beaver?

Beaver We'll get busy too, and take a look at these amazing builders. From their big teeth to those large flat tails, explore the largest rodent in North America. Fun activities and a walk to a pond will show you how beavers impact the habitat and how they keep so busy. Naturalist: Lisa Droubi3-6yrs $5.

Nature notes from Meadowside!

American RobinSpring has come to the woods and meadows here. Red maples are showing off their red buds and chipmunks have emerged from hibernation to scurry under our feeders. Red-winged blackbirds and robins have arrived to set up their territories and start filling the air with their songs.. Come and visit us, search for the tracks, traces and sounds of Nature in Spring!!
