Inclement Weather Policy
During inclement weather, Brookside Nature Center follows the Montgomery County Public School closures, delayed openings, and early releases for the safety of our staff and visitors. If school is closed due to inclement conditions, nature center children's programs are canceled. If you are registered for a fee program canceled by MNCPPC staff, your fee will be returned to your account.
Adult program cancellations are decided on a case-by-case basis; please call the nature center to check the status of an adult program.
If you feel driving conditions are unsafe and school is not closed or delayed, please call the nature center at 301-946-9071.
