Garlic Mustard Challenge

Volunteers Removed Nearly 6 tons of Garlic Mustard from Parks!

The results are in and the Garlic Mustard Challenge was a HUGE success! Hundreds of volunteers working all over the county removed thousands of pounds of garlic mustard plants from our Parks. In all, 611 volunteers worked at 28 locations in 13 Montgomery County Parks. The winners of the challenge are listed below.

Thank you! To all our volunteers for their time, energy, and efforts to help save the forests by removing tons of garlic mustard from parkland! And, many more thanks to our Sponsors who donated prizes for the challenge.
