Description:   This project requests funds from the County Executive and County Council to amend the FY 07-12 Parks Capital Improvements Program (CIP)for Phase 2 of the South Germantown Recreational Park SoccerPlex project.  This funding will:  (1) construct soccer fields 18, 19, and 19 with their associated infrastructure;  (2)  add synthetic turf and sports lighting on fields 18, 19, and 20, and construct a community-use softball field ("Replacement Field C"), and provide funding of the project by Program Open Space and Government Obligation Bonds.  Work on Phase 2 will begin after Council approval of the CIP amendment and the execution of a related Development Agreement.
