Magnificent trees, a rolling green landscape and a unique stone barn provide the picturesque setting that is Woodlawn Manor. The Manor offers an ideal location for weddings, receptions, luncheons, small conferences, retreats, and other social affairs. Constructed in 1800 by the Thomas family, Woodlawn Manor is one of Montgomery County's most admired historic properties.

Perched on 82 acres in the center of historic Sandy Spring, this Georgian-style Manor House possesses a charming sense of history while providing guests with all the modern conveniences necessary for business or social gatherings.

Five beautifully designed rooms are available, each equipped with hardwood floors and richly restored period furnishings that can comfortably accommodate 40 guests for an indoor, seated event, or up to 60 guests for standing receptions or events. Most rooms can accommodate either conference or theater-style seating arrangements.

This historic country manor is perfectly suited for a wide range of events, including small retreats, workshops and meetings, art or craft shows, teas, book talks or lectures, weddings, memorial services, and other family celebrations. A catering kitchen is available as is ample parking in close proximity to the Manor House.

Outdoor events for as many as 250 guests take place in our breathtaking gazebo garden or on our beautifully landscaped, five-acre lawn behind the Manor, which provides an ideal setting for all types of tented events.

You can combine your social or business event with a golf outing at the nearby renowned Northwest Golf Course or with a hike along the nearby trail to the original Sandy Spring.
