The Anderson Pavilion is situated on a picturesque island in the midst of the Aquatic Garden's upper pond. The serene surroundings provide an ideal location for intimate ceremonies, tea parties or romantic dinners.
The fee for the Anderson Pavilion is $675 for one hour or $2,175 for six hours, plus a $500 refundable security deposit.
The Anderson Pavilion can accommodate up to 10 people seated or up to 25 people standing.
Wedding Gazebo

Exchange vows surrounded by the hanging baskets and flowers of the Wedding Gazebo. The central walk flanked by rows of holly trees and a sloping lawn creates a natural aisle for your triumphant march. Available for ceremonies only, impress your guests with a reception in another area of the garden or in the Reception Hall.
The fee for the Wedding Gazebo is $675 for one hour plus a $500 refundable security deposit.
The Wedding Gazebo can accommodate up to 125 people standing.
Conservatory

Surround yourself and your guests with the lush, tropical plantings of the glass-roofed conservatory. Whatever the weather outside, the inside greenery and displays flourish throughout the year. Perfect for social functions ranging from a light buffet or reception with hors d'oeuvres to a wedding ceremony.
The fee for the Conservatory is $850 for one hour or $2,350 for six hours (from 5:00pm–11:00pm), plus a $1,000 refundable security deposit.
The Conservatory can accommodate up to 125 people standing.
Japanese Tea House

Enjoy the view overlooking rolling holls, quiet ponds and large specimen trees from beneath the shady eaves of the Japanese Tea House. Enjoy an intimate reception for a small party or hold your wedding ceremony here and move to another area of the garden for your reception.
The fee for the Japanese Tea House is $675 for one hour or $2,350 for six hours (from either 10:00am–4:00pm or 2:00pm–8:00pm), plus a $1,000 refundable security deposit.
The Japanese Tea House can accommodate up to 20 people seated or up to 50 people standing.
Fragrance Garden

Indulge your senses in the Fragrance Garden, where bubbling fountains, scented flowers and herbs surround a Victorian-style gazebo. Whet your appetite here with hors d'oeuvres, then move to a tented lawn just a few steps away for dinner and dancing.
The fee for the Fragrance Garden is $675 for one hour or $2,350 for six hours (from either 10:00am–4:00pm or 2:00pm–8:00pm), plus a $1,000 refundable security deposit.
The Fragrance Garden can accommodate up to 125 people seated or up to 150 people standing.
Reception Hall

Social Event and Lecture Seating at the Reception HallThe newly opened Reception Hall offers a panoramic view of the brilliant azalea garden and peaceful aquatic ponds. Ideal for both seated dinners and standing receptions with hors d'oeuvres, your guests will appreciate the privacy and climate-controlled comfort of our premier site.
The fee for the Reception Hall is $1,600 for four hours or $2,850 for seven hours (from either 8:00am–3:00pm or 4:00pm–11:00pm; hours are flexible), plus a $1,000 refundable security deposit.
The Reception Hall can accommodate up to 175 people seated theater style, 125 seated for dinner, 110 seated for dinner and dancing, 50 seated classroom style, 25 seated in a U shape, or up to 175 people standing.
Classrooms

Two classrooms are available for smaller functions. Each offers a view of shady woodlands and immediate access to the gardens.
The fee for the classrooms is $275 on weekdays and $375 on evenings and weekends (for a four-hour block), plus a $250 refundable security deposit.
Each classroom can accommodate up to 25 people seated theater style, 20 seated classroom style or 16 seated in a U shape.
Tents on the Lawns
Consider hosting your reception in a grand tent. Near the Formal Garden and the Fragrance Garden, flat green lawns offer a fine opportunity for a large tent that can accommodate a larger guest list.
The fee for tents on the lawn is $2,350 for six hours (from either 10:00am–4:00pm or 2:00pm–8:00pm), plus a $1,000 refundable security deposit.
Tent occupancy of up to 250 people is permitted.

Back to TopBrookside Gardens is located at 1800 Glenallan Avenue in Wheaton, Maryland.
From I-270 and points west: Take Exit 4A (Montrose Road) east, which turns into Randolph Road. After approximately 7 miles, turn right onto Glenallan Avenue. Follow the directions "From Glenallen Avenue," below.
From I-495 (Capital Beltway): Take Exit 31A (Georgia Avenue/Route 97) north toward Wheaton. After 3 miles, turn right onto Randolph Road. At the second traffic light, turn right onto Glenallan Avenue. Follow the directions "From Glenallen Avenue," below.
From Glenallan Avenue:
- To get to the Visitors Center, continue 3/8 mile to the 4-way stop at the stone entrance and turn right.
- To get to the Conservatory, continue 1/2 mile to 1500 Glenallan Avenue (on the right).
