History Farm Park
is located at 18400 Muncaster Road in Derwood. Situated
along Rock Creek, this park is a 410-acre complex with
a farmhouse, barn, assorted farm buildings, and an activity
center. A historic area comprises 70 acres, where visitors
can learn about past farming practices. The farmhouse
is currently being furnished to reflect the home of an
average turn-of-the-century family. Activities at the
park include seasonal festivals depicting farm life both
past and present. |
